Youth and young adults are our most precious jewels. They require support to shine bright as a true gem does when it is properly cared for. It is our wish to ensure that we work together to achieve this goal.

So Want A Career in Athletics™ is a professional development initiative of the Marc and Kiki Barnes Foundation, which invests in girls and young women through educational programming. Female sports participation is at an all-time high since the passage of Title IX however, roughly 93% of all sports leadership roles are held by men. The mission of SYWACIA™ is to strengthen the pipeline of female leaders in sports by educating girls on leadership and career opportunities in sports and enhancing mentorship opportunities by connecting girls with other female sports industry professionals.
